I never realized just how much the shower curtain sticking to my side was annoying, until I had a chance to shower in freedom. I have two showers in my house, and I installed the ShowerBow in the guest bathroom. Now I don't use the master bathroom anymore... I can't go back to the shower curtain effect! Showerbow has added feet to my shower width. It's like building an addition to your house, only instead of $175 per square foot, it was just a small fraction of that to instantly add around 10 square feet to my shower! Scott ( Online Customer ) Those who have used the ShowerBow here at my house have been amazed at how it works. At first, it doesn't seem to do much. That is until one is actually in the shower and realize that the plastic shower curtain is no longer clinging to wet skin. Ah, what a relief! Rita ( Rhode Island ) I bought one, tried it out, and now have three. I'd even give it as a gift. Unlike a curved curtain rod, the ShowerBow tilts back into the tub area with a gentle push, getting it out of your face in a small bathroom with the toilet close to the tub. When I first installed one, in minutes, the light shower curtain liner pushed out too far: no problem, another couple of minutes and I converted over to the included "short" ShowerBow tilt for the weight. Very well thought out! The end of the bow that snapped into the tilt was even labeled with which side went in first. So much easier than using bottles to hold the liner from billowing into the shower and that extra space is great. I can finally turn and face the shower head with rubbing elbows with rubber. J. Richards ( Amazon.com Customer ) Okay --- I was very skeptical, especially when I took this plastic contraption out of it's 10x10 box. When I installed it in under 5 minutes, I began to have a little hope, but I wasn't sure. All it took was one shower to make me a believer!!!! Now I list it as one of those products that I never knew how much I needed it until I got it. I didn't even realize that I felt closed in or claustrophobic in my shower until I experienced how much BETTER I felt with the ShowerBow in place. It really does make the shower feel larger and roomier... no elbows hitting the plastic, no blowing showering curtain with every draft. And in my tiny, tiny, 1930's bathroom, every bit of space counts. I was also worried about how it would look when not in use, but it is not a problem. It does mostly hide out of the way behind the shower curtain, and the part that shows is minimal. I am a large individual (over 400 pounds and 6'-0" tall) and it is already a little difficult to take showers when the curtain gets in the way. With the ShowerBow installed, I have lots of room at my arm height and it allows me lots of manuerving room (...) without having to juke my way around the curtain. I had been thinking about another solution that I found when staying at one of Days Inn Motels when traveling through California . In their bathrooms they had installed rods for shower curtains that were in a bow shape, which also eliminated that cold, wet curtain crowding. But when I found your ShowerBow, at a very reasonable price and so easy to install, it solved my problem. I am sure that a curtain rod like the one in Days Inn would have cost a lot more plus the installation would probably have been a lot more complicated. So, thanks for your invention, the ShowerBow. Boel ( San Marcos , CA ) My husband had a stroke 2 yrs ago and we had to take the glass doors off of the showers because his balance was such that he could easily have fallen so I basically ordered this for his convenience and comfort as he kept saying that he wished the shower was bigger. Sounded like the perfect solution for not much money. I find it interesting that I'm enjoying it as much as I am since I thought it was just fine before - but that added space is WONDERFUL and I no longer feel that I need to worry about the placement of the curtain as it seems more controlled since I've installed the ShowerBow. So much so that I ordered a second one for my daughter in Florida , although it was kidnapped by my granddaughter who is pregnant, and certainly needs the extra room the Shower Bow will give her. Many times in the past I have simply jumped in the shower without pulling the shower curtain across, set the spray to hit the side wall, and had my shower while hugging the wall. Of course my bathroom floor was wet, the bath mat was soaking and I had a mess to clean. I was impressed with the simplicity of your product and ease in installing. The instructions were easy to follow. I was also impressed with the packaging. The product shipped in perfect condition. After looking at the packaging and the product, I thought that I would have gladly paid $29.99. I certainly would have paid that if I saw the actual product in its package in a store. After using the Shower Bow I would be more than willing to pay $39.99 if I somehow lost mine and had to replace it. I wish you much success in selling your Shower Bow. 5 Stars! GREAT PURCHASE! I tried everything to keep my shower curtain from sticking to me (short of installing a new rod or glass door because I live in an apartment), but nothing worked. I tried the suction-cup liner, the magnet liner, I even cut the magnets out of one liner, slit open the magnet pockets on another liner, and doubled-up the magnets...it still wrapped me up like a burrito! But the ShowerBow totally fixed the problem. It looks a little silly, and your guest are like "what the heck is that?", but it's totally worth it. A great purchase, indeed!
