How does the ShowerBow work?
ShowerBow works inside your shower. It uses a patented space capsule attached to a clear, flexible bow. It snaps onto your rod in seconds. The space capsule has a 1-pound counterweight inside. When it tips out, the bow pushes the curtain away, like an invisible hand, but without lifting the curtain from the tub. It creates more space at the elbow and knee level … where you need it most. Then, it tips back with just a nudge. So ShowerBow is invisible from the outside. You can place the space capsule at either end of your shower, front or back. It's never in the way. As for the bow, it is clear flexible lightweight plastic and slides easily side-to-side.

Will the ShowerBow fit my shower?
Yes, it is designed to fit all standard showers. It can also be used in clawfoot tub showers and narrow shower stalls. It will work with bolted rods, tension rods, L-shaped rods, and elliptical rods, too. But in all these cases, your rod must be regular size tubing (approximately 1" diameter) and with at least 4" clearance above it. And please make sure your rod is properly installed first. It must support the ShowerBow, which weighs less than 2 pounds.

The space capsule has a 1-pound counterweight inside. When you add the capsule itself, plus the bow, together they weigh less than 2 pounds in total. The ShowerBow was designed to be safe and discreet. If your concern is for the extra weight on your rod, rest assured: most properly installed curtain rods (even tension rods) can take up to 10 pounds. ShowerBow weighs less than 2 pounds. But your rod capacity depends on the method of installation and the rod type. So please make sure your rod is properly installed first and capable of supporting the ShowerBow.
